Sebastion Michelis: Top Ten Evil Moments

A lot of black butler fans seem to forget Sebastion is an evil demon who wants to eat Ciel’s soul. Even the author Yana herself has confirmed this as fact. So i wanted to make a list of the top ten most evil things sebastion has done. Note this is just my opinion on how bad they are. I might of even missed some, events. From Manga and Anime so spoiler alert.

Warning! If you happen to be a pro demon buttler  fan and believe the demons are precious muffin cakes who are more important then the human boys and hate anyone for so much as stepping on their toes, you will not like any of my blog entries, i’m stictly team human masters, and the servants who are loyal becuse of love and not becuse of some big tasty soul prize at the end. Also if your an extreme Ciel fan becuse i’ve gotten to the point of ok ish with him but he’s not in my top five and probly never will be, Ciel rubs me the wrong way sometimes more then any other character.

10. Throwing Finny out of the manor.

Finny didn’t like Sebastions treatment of a traumatized Ciel, so our loveible gardner stood up to the demon for the sake of Ciel’s mental health. Sebastion respondes by tossing him out of the manor forcefully.

9. Takeing advantage of Ciel

Sebastion gets summoned  by the cult and the first thing he does is persuade an abused mentally tramatized 10 year old child into forming a demon contract with him for the chance to live a while longer. That’s called takeing advantage of a kid who lost everything and is desperate.

 

8. Ciel forgets his revenge and Sebastion attempts to gobbel him up.

Ciel loses his memory due to supernatural occurances and reverts back to being a scared child. Sebastion attempts to eat Ciels soul right then and there without forfilling his end of the contract. After a good half an hour of brutal verbal bullying while Ciel is on the verge of a panic attack.

7. Sebastion attempts to breach contract

In episode 4 there’s a scene where Sebastion leans in and puts his mouth near Ciels. As we witness at the end of the season this is how demons take souls. Sebastion wasn’t trying to kiss Ciel like some fan girls seem to think, he was trying to suck his soul away, luckily for Ciel the fireworks distracted him.

6. Sebastion sets a snake on Ciel

Sebastion purposely leaves snakes out where they can bite Ciel, during Noah Arks Circus why becuse it amuseing him, and he can easily cure Ciel, if he gets poisened. Sebastion puts Ciel in danger and pain for his own amusement. Why does anyone like him again?

5. Victum blameing

We all know Seastion likes to say things to his eneimies that hit bellow the belt. However an especally nasty example of this exists in, Season 2 episode 1 Sebastion tells 14 year old Alois Trancy  he’ll not let him ” Put his dirty hands on ciel and taint him.” This implies Sebastion knew Alois was a victum of sexual abuse and is blameing him for his own rape. Yep that’s right fan girls Sebastion is a rape appologist. What makes this worse is Alois has a mental breakdown two seconds after and refears to himself as “a dirty little brat.”

4. Setting up Alois up to be murdered

In season two Sebastion and Claude make a pact to get Ciel to kill Alois in order to spice up his soul. Since they need a scape goat to blame the murder of Ciel’s parents on. This is futher imphasized when Alois is bleeding to death on the floor. And sebastion smirks when ciels says ” Don’t help, He’ll finish Alois himself.” keep in mind he set up an unstable abused kid to die, so he could kill another abused kid.

3. Lighting children on fire

Sebastion burns down the whole circus includeing children who although tramatized are still alive. He does this with a truely evil smile, as Ciel gives the order for child slaughter.

2. Rapeing Beast

Sebastion  crossed the line by forceing himself on Beast in order to get information and degrade her at the same time. The whole scene was chilling and her expression was heartbreaking to watch.

1. The black Plauge apparently Sebastion killed about half of europe for kicks and giggles, and he’s quite proud of this fact.

So there you have sebastion is a child abuser, rapist, rape appolgist, murder and bully but hey what do you exspect from a demon who resides in Hell. I just wish some fans would stop getting offended when someone points out Sebastion is evil, becuse the facts speak for themselves, and im tired of fans painting Sebastion as a victum of the same children or women he often abuses or attempts to kill.

Death Note: Whammy House is Terrifying

Ok in the Death Note fandom the huge issue seems to be whether Light was wrong or not. However i think there’s potential for an even bigger contrversity that exists in the show. Whammy House on one hand it takes in oprahaned children who wouldn’t otherwise fit in in some cases. Gives smart kids the chance to reach their potential and created the ultimate detective  who is capible of solveing difficult and often horrific crimes which means they are makeing the world a better place. However on the other hand their distroying and damgeing these genius kids. I love watiri as a charater but what the hell is he thinking installing a program that puts that much pressure on kids! Especally Orphan genuis’s who already appear to have mental issues. And  we as viewers are shown the affectcts whammy has on these kids. L,Mello, Near, Beyond Birthday, A and others have all been affected by the program and i think its had affects on their mental and emotional development in non positive ways. Here’s some of whammy’s biggest problems and affects on each individual. Warning spoilers, and my own head cannons.

1. Crimminal records, end justifies the means

Whammy may produce anti hero detectives but they also have a tedency to produce very smart dangerous criminals. While  Beyond Birthday was probly unstable from birth the fact Whammy’s staf either didn’t notice or care about how obviously unstable he was suggests whammy’s program has some huge problems . They were perfectly fine with him mimicking L exactly, probly ignored L’s complaints if he made any. I always got the impression that Beyond creeped L out, being he sent the FBI agent to deal with him. Also its simply fan theory but he might of driven A to suicide. The point is they let the Beyond thing esculate up to the point  until he ran away and started a killing spree. He used his whammy training to stay hidden for years while he plotted mass murder/ suicide. On a lesser scale but still dangerous is Mello the fact the kids skills allowed him to move up in the ranks of the japanese mob makes me wonder whether learning how to shoot and kill people is on whammy’s curciculum. He kidnapped and murdered god knows how many people at the age of twenty. Sadly Mello is still the most empathedic of the three. He felt affection for mat, and gave the women he kidnapped a blanket, even connected with Light’s dad.  L has no problem torchureing Misa, invadeing peoples privicy without their knowledge, Near uses people and was planing to keep light Captive and torchure him in the manga.  Judgeing by the L’s choosen Whammy seems to have and encourage a  detached approuch when solving crimes. This does make sense from a logical standpoint as it causes less mistakes, however it also seems to discourage empathy. L, Near, and Mello have been taught the ends justify the means. As a result murder, kidnapping torchure, manipulation, and sideing with crimminals are typical behaviors for  them. Brains, little conciounce, and the ability to opperate outside the law. Whammy’s is playing russian rolette here, these kids going off the rails causes severe conquences.

2. Social skills emotional development

Whammy’s program is set up in a way that intentionally discourages both social interaction and emotional development. Both of which are skills children need to develop and grow. Social interactions teach people to fuction in society and deal with other people and emotional issues. The whammy children are taught at a young age to see eachother as competition. This makes it near impossible for most of these kids to have any if few positive social interactions let alone form freindships. This system invokes jealously and a desire to win at any cost. The biggest example of this is L and Near. Now whether they have ausburgers or not is up for debate. However if L and Near do in fact have asburgers it would be even more important for them to learn how to deal with people and learn some social skills. Either way the two of them were isolated from all but their aids i guess you could call them and this does end up hurting them in fact it gets L killed. ( Character interpretation ahead)

L and Near isolation and Toxic relationships

We know L has constantly kept himself hidden from the world, for his own safety. Wateri fetches what he needs and no one has ever seen his face.  Then the kira case hits and L and forced to get directly involved. L is forced to spend days with light and interact with him. This proves to be L’s downfall. Although i do believe l was lying when L said  light ” was his first freind.” as he was suspicious of and didn’t trust Light at the time, their was even a bit of dislike on his part. However i do think L might of actually come to think of Light and even Misa as his freinds. When Misa makes her offer of freindship L’s response is ” Now i have two freinds.” which was meant to be sarcastic but to me always sounded slightly bitter, as if maybe he wished things were diffrent. Also  L complimented misa after she got proof of the forth Kira. At that moment he actually seemed geniune, also he never fought Misa when she pulled him into the freindship circle with her and Light. Maybe if whammy house had actually allowed L to interact positively with other genius children instead of setting him apart and placeing on the pedistole they should ispire to. He might not of gotten so attached to his murder suspects as his first freinds, L got too emotionally involved. He made mistakes and was perhapse unable to deal with the affection he was developing for the mass murder who was his intelllectual equal. Light on the other hand had no such confusion and had L murdered to achieve his goal.

Near’s damage is less obvious and a lot of fans overlook him as a character period. I’ve heard him discribed as phycopathic and creepy, however the author revealed one minor detail about Near that actually makes him sympathedic to me, and someone who was equally failed by Whammy House as Mello and L. ” Near  spent all night working on his Mello puppet,becuse Near was fond of Mello” Oba says. ” Their competition was onesided.”  As i said earlier Whammy House’s  system, which is based on competition to be the next L  keeps freindships from being formed. This  is especally true with Near and Mello.( I won’t touch on it to much becuse i’ll touch more on Mello later.) Mello hated Near for being number 1 on whammy’s ranking scale. Near on the other hand wanted them to work together. Although it first appears to based on logic, there are hints Near’s urge to work with Mello might be more emotional. Near has a picture of Mello which is usually senamental for him. He even wrote Dear Mello on the back of the picture. A term of endurement from someone who at first glance seems emotionless. However no matter how much Near wants to be Mello’s freind. It will never happen  as Mello so focused on the competition between them, wrongfully assumes  that’s all Near cares about. Also he hates Near for something he has no control over. Near cann’t help the fact he’s smart, and his  lack of social skills make him unable to convey the fact that all he wants is to be Mello’s freind. Whammy was busy encourging competion between them that when its now estinetial for them to get along neither of them can manage it. Therefore Mello dies and Near ends up outliveing everyone he knows completely alone.

3. Mental Health

I touched a little on this with L and Near never learning how to deal with their emotional needs.But now i want to talk about the most damaged members of Whammy house. I already talked about Beyond Birthday who had other uses, the ability to see Death. If he werre the only crazzy one it could be written as one bad apple in the bunch. However going insane seems to be a pattern at Whammy’s. This is primarily becuse at Whammy Orphanage being smart isn’t enough, the program pushes all the kids to excell by ranking them by numbers. In fact only the top three canidates to take over for L, seem to matter. Number 1 is the spot that matters most of all, sending the message that if your not the smartest kid in a sea of genuis’s you don’t matter.

This is actually shown as damageing, A L’s first sucessor comits suicide at a young age becuse he or she cann’t take the pressure. There’s also two more generations that death note never disscuses becuse Mello, Mat and Near are refeared to as the third generation. Therefore something nasty happened to four more whammy kids. The biggest example of this is Mello. Mello is number 2 in line to succeed L. However no matter how hard he works, becuse he’s emotional Mello is never going to get the top spot like he wants. This would normally be ok for most people but Mello has an inferority complex. Now either two things have happened, Either Whammy’s systeam created his complex, or he always had a complex. Either way Whammy’s has messed him up. Even if he did have previous mental issues, its on Whammy house for chooseing to take advantage of his deturmination, instead of getting him out of an envoronment which clearly has negative affects on his mental health.  Its  hinted that Mello’s deturmination to become L and continual failure is slowly driveing him insane. Which is apparent by the expressions Mello continually has which scream scary and deranged. Mello takes his obsessive competition with Near so far that he heads the mafia, arranges two kidnappings, some murder, blackmail, and finaly is murder by one of Kira’s followers. He self distucted in the end and the results were not pretty.  Also L himself told the whammy kids via monitor that he was the biggest monster of them all. Suggesting L did in fact have a lot of inturnal self loathing and felt shame for some of the things he’s done to win his cases. Even Near’s dislike of L suggests a disillusion with Whammy’s systeam and a resentment of being a pawn whos only a backup plan. I think Near only took up being L becuse he had no other options and cann’t break free from the role he’s been groomed for his whole life. Also the author mentioned Mat’s a pyro maniac so yes, they’re all depressed, obsessive, kids with mental issues. Wait a go Whammy’s!

Mortality rate/objectification

Whammy kids have a dangerously low mortality rate. A comitted suicide at about age 10 at least. Beyond Birthday was killed by kira in prison and he also attemped suicide. Mello and Matt both dead at age twenty and L died at 24 also murdered at Kira. This way the patterns going Near probly won’t have a very long life span either  as the new L. Perhapse the biggest problem of all, is the callous attitude Whammy House seems to have toward the kids. The fact they set up the program becuse they knew L was going to die is logical, but comes across as cold. L dies they can replace him with a new one. Rodger is the head of the orphanage but according to Oba “Rodger hates kids” therefore Wateri choose someone who he knew would have no desire to connect with or help children, to run his orphanage. The kids are beging trained as soilders, they aren’t viewed as people with issues or desires they’re simply letters, stripped of their idenity in the most dehuaminzing way. They’re turned into tools to serve the needs of the government, putting themselves into reckless situations and willing to die for a cause they’ve been groomed for.

Geeze! maybe Whammy Qualish aka Wateri is just as bad as Kira. Its an interesting idea to explore through and i haven’t really seen it touched upon. That whammy institution has given the world the ultimate Detective and will continue to produce world leading detectives, but they do this by inflicting phycological damage on genius oprhans and the result is very bitter, depressed young adults who cann’t break out of the role they’ve been forced into no matter how miserible it makes them. All for the sake of Justice and keeping World order.

Serious Post: Zamii07

I want to talk about what happened to a young women called Zamii070.  Maybe you’ve heard of her. If not i’d urg you to look up her and her story. I’m appalled and kinda angry it dosen’t matter that i don’t know her. It dosen’t matter  that she’s apart of a fandom that i’m not farmilar with. What matters is she’s a human being and apparently peoples nasty comments have driven her to try and commit suicide. She’s ok now and drawing pictures again i just wanted to talk about the situation becuse God! This just isn’t right ok its just not. Ok let me tell you about the situation zamii070 otherwise known as paige paz is apart of the steven universe fandom. She draws a lot of really nice art and has a real talent however a lot of people were not pleased with her art and accused her of being racist, homophobic and ablest the last of which was incridibly stupid becuse she has a mental disorder.

Here’s the thing i do not and i mean do not care if you agree or disagree with the way she drew these characters, that’s beside the point. This issue is that some individuals and i’ve seen this in other fandoms, think that claiming to be for social justice gives them the right to bully, belittle, and scream hate speech at someone! Here’s the thing it dosen’t! People who use hate speech and i don’t care who they are what bullshit victum, special snowflake mentality they happen to have.  These scum bags are the ones that seek to censor and control others. I’m so sick of seeing people put down and bullied on the internet of them being accused of being homophobic, racist,ablest, sexist, mogynist, ect simply for disagreeing or being told to kill themselves on the internet. This is rediculous i know i myself have things, pairings or depictions of characters i dislike or disagree with. But i would never ever, ever want anyone to feel bad or hurt themselves over disagreeing with me.  Yes there are negative and sometimes problomatic views of things, but that’s why we have disscutions, thats why we study fictional works and talk about the characters. But if someone dosen’t want to lisen or if they disagree they have that right to. Drop the conversation and move on don’t try and force people to change their minds with hate speech, spam, encouraging others to attack them or my personal favorite, sending them graphic pictures.

What happened? Fandoms are suposed to be about fun, they’re exscapism and a place to be nerdy, creative and passionate. We’ve gotten to the point where we’ve started to take overselves way to seriously, our muscles clench and our jaws tighten at the slightest suggestion of a head cannon that dosen’t fit our views of character, setting or theme. We need to stop, we need to sit back and relax and have more fun. Not to say we have to stop disagreeing, disliking or not accepting others views but we should respect everyone in our fandoms as human beings and respect everyones right to free speech. You cann’t claim free speech and try and shut down everyone else who disagrees with you.

So i say from now on we sit back relax write our fanfiction, draw our fanart, discuss, make up weird theories, videos ect and stop hateing on eachother! Becuse just watch the news, go to school, read a history textbook. There’s already too much hatred in the world lets not add to it.
